«Bazar-Art» Exhibition-Fair

«Bazar-Art» Exhibition-Fair is one of the vivid events in cultural life of the capital, which takes place in the Center of National Arts of the Fund Forum twice a year. The exhibition gathers the best masters of an applied art from all parts of the country, among them are representatives of artists` families and young craftsmen. The project aimed at discovering the creative potential in modern applied arts, introducing wide public with the most interesting trends in this field, supporting creative dynasties and talented craftsmen as well as preserving and enhancing of national heritage.

«Bolajonlar-Shirintoylar» Children’s Fashion Festival

«Bolajonlar-Shirintoylar» Children’s Fashion Festival

The «Bolajonlar-Shirintoylar» (Sweet children) Festival is held annually by the Fund Forum in cooperation with the «Osiyo Ramzi» (Symbol of Asia) Designers Association of Uzbekistan. Fashion show of children clothing, exhibition of national toys, graphical works, school dress, the best designer, the best catwalk, and the best creative stage in performance of very young boys and girls contests are conducted within the framework of the Festival. Entry-level specialists take part in the Festival along with professional designers.

«Asrlar Sadosi» Festival of Traditional Culture

The «Asrlar Sadosi» Festival of Traditional Culture is grand project of the Fund Forum which presents all the diversity of the national traditions and customs, handicrafts and cuisine, unique oral and intangible heritage. Every year the Festival is held in different regions of Uzbekistan in historical or cultural centers as an out-door fete. Each of these places has its unique heritage and centuries-old traditions passing from generations to generations.

«Yangi avlod» Children’s Creativity Festival

Since 2004 the «Yangi avlod» (New generation) National Festival has been annually held by the Fund Forum with the support of «Kamalak» (Rainbow) Childrens Organization. In 2009, Yangi avlod Festival was timed to the 20th anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child with the support of UNICEF. In 2010, grants were awarded not only to the Festival winners, but also to heads of music groups.

During this period the Festival has become not only a significant model of discovering and all-round support of gifted youngsters of Uzbekistan, but also gave them a splendid opportunity to show their talents, be in the center of the public attention and get pass to the grand art while performing on the same stage with celebrities.

It should be noted that the Festival opens new perspectives for its winners and participants. Many of them get further support for participation in international contests and festivals as well as get regular invitations for the concerts and musical projects in Uzbekistan. In particular, the winners of "Yangi Avlod" became successful participants of the project of the Spivakov International Charity Foundation, the International Festival of pianists in City di Cantu, Italy, the Festival "Les Orientales" in France, Evora Festival in Portugal, etc. That’s how the young talents make a valuable contribution to spread the Uzbek national art to the world.

«Kelajak ovozi» Talented Youth Contest

«Kelajak ovozi» Talented Youth Contest

Annual competition “Kelajak ovozi” (Voice of the Future) is one of the most large-scale youth projects in Uzbekistan.

It is held among participants, aged from 15 till 25 years in four nominations:

  • Architecture and design;
  • Information technologies, rationalization proposals and technical projects;
  • Traditional, fine and applied arts;
  • Literature and publicism.

The competition was organized firstly in 2005 and gained its popularity among youth from all over the country. Winners of the contest get assistance in implementation of the proposed projects and all-round support by the organizers.

Support to initiatives of studentship young professionals has received the logical continuation in the establishing of the “Kelajak ovozi” Youth Initiatives Center (YIC) which unites young and purposeful people, creates conditions for realization of their interesting ideas and projects.

Art Week Style.uz

Art Week Style.uz is annually organized by the Fund Forum jointly with Dom Stilya (House of Style) since 2006. The project presents diverse art-menu of catwalk, presentations, master-classes from arts and culture professionals, applied art, design and fashion exhibition, rarities expositions, auctions, contests of young designers, National Dress Festival, concerts of world music stars, and social events. World famous designers, jewelry and fashion brand owners, showbiz celebrities, vogue magazines’ editors, public figures, representatives of mass media from many countries take part in the Tashkent Art Week.

Art Week Style.uz – is a crossroad of arts, traditions and modernity. For four years now the Week impresses with its scale and dynamics, versatility of its events and attracts more and more attention of the world most famous figures. Being also directed to international cooperation in different arts spheres development and creative personalities support, the Art Week Style.Uz is organized with the support from significant local and international institutions, public organizations including UNESCO, the British Council, Goethe Institute in Tashkent, French Institute, etc.

«Navkiron O’zbekiston» Festival

«Navkiron O’zbekiston» Festival

The «Navkiron O’zbekiston» (Young Uzbekistan) Festival of Traditional and Contemporary Arts held once in two years is one of the first youth projects of the Fund Forum aimed at discovering and supporting young artists and masters of applied art. For the first time the Festival took place in 2004 in Tashkent. Young artists and masters under 35 with art education take part in this event from all over the country. The motto of the «Navkiron O’zbekiston» Festival is «The modern view of traditional arts of Uzbekistan!» Participants present their original works, reflecting new perception of well-known styles of art by young artists and masters. A unique mix of the historical traditions and modern trends, of past and present, of East and West is notable in such pieces.

M&ТVA

M&TVA аward ceremony of music, TV and video art was established by the Fund Forum jointly with the Authors and Performers Guild of Uzbekistan and TVM channel in 2006. The main goal of the award is to discover and encourage outstanding representatives of various spheres, contributing to the development of national arts and culture. Prominent singers and young talents perform during the award ceremony. Celebrities of TV, radio, theatre, cinema and show business participate in the ceremony as guests.

Annual Report On-line Conference

The Online conference is one of the most technological projects in Uzbekistan, so-called know-how of the Fund Forum and modern effective way to make a resume of the year. Every year the Foundation presents its annual report in the form of live dialog with public on the www.on-line.uz. web-page.

Representatives of the Foundation as well as prominent culture and arts figures, celebrities, winners of the Fund Forum`s projects and everyone who contributed to its activity during the year answer the questions of Internet-users.

Round table discussions on different topics, such as international cooperation, culture and arts, youth and charity are held within the event. Culture and art, education and sport figures, representatives of international organizations, NGOs and mass media take part in the panels.

«Baby» International Children’s Tournament

The main objective of the project is popularization of rhythmic gymnastics among children, especially in remote areas of the country, encouragement of young gymnasts to new sporting achievements, identification and support of top athletes, formation of the national youth team reserve, as well as the strengthening of friendly ties both between the regions and on the international level.

Competitions are held in open form, and participants are free to choose the format of their performance. There are virtually no restrictions on performances staging, the choice of article, music or costumes. Participants may perform both solo or in groups by age, as well as in mixed groups.

The «Snowflake» Club Superiority on Calisthenics is annually held at the “Forum Junior Sport” Children`s Sport Complex established by the Fund Forum. “In the Name of Life” Marathon

“In the Name of Life” charity marathon, a major project initiated by Gulnara Karimova, was launched in 2010 to become the first event of its kind in Uzbekistan. Charity Ball «In the name of childhood»

Annual Project Charity Ball «In the name of childhood», devoted to the International Children`s Day for the first time was held in the Japanese Garden in Tashkent in June 2008.

All the proceeds from the auction are directed at the development of social and charitable projects in support of motherhood and childhood. A program consisting of competitions and performances of pop stars and the buffet table is provided for children and their parents.
